Frances Hill


Frances is a specialist in fundraising, strategies for growth, business development and partnerships. 


As Executive Director of the Development Studies Association, Frances drove exponential growth. She is now the Chair of the South West International Development Network.


Her fields of expertise include international development and humanitarian action.

Jim Cranshaw


Jim's specialisms reflect a diverse career, and include business development, strategy,  communications, evaluation and campaigns.


Jim has set up and built three NGOs - the largest of which operates in 20 countries across the world.

Carys Hughes


Carys is an academic and researcher based at the University of East London. 


She is a specialist in qualitative research methodologies and evaluation. 


Her research has explored civil society use of the law, and forms of democratic and participatory governance around the world. She is an experienced researcher and evaluator for NGOs, foundations and multilateral bodies.

Jackie Christie


A leader in communications for development, Jackie has 30 years experience delivering communications solutions. Her career which has encompassed broadcasting on national radio networks, producing award winning content, training national and international media practitioners and driving C4D strategies to achieve positive development outcomes. 


Jackie is also a leading Diversity and Inclusion Specialist, leading the BBC's work in this area.

Elba Estrada


Elba is a multilingual and multicultural professional holding a M.A. in international relations of the European Union. She has more than 10 years (5 of them spent in Central America) of varied work experience with the United Nations, the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, and Civil Society Organizations.


Her thematic focus is fair trade and human rights. She currently works as a consultant for several human rights organizations in the areas of evaluation, MEAL and fundraising

Anna Bryer


Anna is an accomplished and well-connected researcher and campaigner with 10 years of experience in human rights advocacy in the global garment industry. 


As well as winning major campaigns and supporting movements, she has researched and written many reports focussed on business and human rights, international supply chains, and sustainability.

Phoebe Cullingworth


Phoebe Cullingworth is a fundraising consultant dedicated to resourcing social justice organisations. She is particularly passionate about the redistribution of power and resources to smaller charities and community groups where it's needed.


With twelve years experience in the UK charity sector, she has worked for a range of organisations with a particular focus on migrants' rights, systemic inequality, VAWG and arts and youth projects.
